Berlin Tourism - Tourist information can be obtained from the Berlin Tourist Info Center, located at Budapester Str. 45, which is in the western part of the downtown area. There are also numerous main visitor sites, offered by Berlin Tourismus Marketing. These can be found in the Europa Center, the south wing of the Brandenburg Gate, as well as at the base of the Fernsehn Turm at Alexanderplatz. These can be visited from 10am to 6pm.
When looking for something to do while touring the city, you will find that Staatliche (state) museums are not open for visitations on Mondays, but on Thursdays, you can enter for free during the last four hours of opening. Free audio guides are offered during the purchase of admission, but you must pay for one of these during free Thursdays.
