Vancouver Tourism - There are many different celebrations and events that bring tourists to Vancouver. During late July and early August, the HSBC Celebration of Light is considered the largest fireworks competition throughout the world. Every year, the Fringe Festival is also held offering a variety of theater performances.
When visiting in July, you will be able to enjoy the Lantern Festival, which is held at Trout Lake Park. By the end of July, the Jazz Festival is held. June also brings the Dragon Boat Festival, which is held at False Creek. Other events to check out include the Vancouver Film Festival in September/October; Parade of Lost Souls; Gay Pride Parade and Festival in August.
