Venice Weather - The best months for sightseeing, in terms of weather, is during March, April, May, June, September and October. Tourists will encounter pleasant weather that does not reach uncomfortable, hot temperatures. Hot and sticky weather creeps up during the months of July and August, which arrives with the winds that come from the southeast. But, never fear, cool temperatures prevail with afternoon thunderstorms. It is quite common for temperatures to peak at 81 degrees.
The rest of the year provides cooler temperatures, but you will also observe a heavy rainfall. The winters in Venice bring rather mild weather, where fog, rain and high water floods can put a damper on activities and sightseeing.
